The annual keynote address, known as the State of the Word (SOTW), will be given by Matt Mullenweg in San Francisco for 2025. The SOTW is traditionally where Mr. Mullenweg will talk about the progress that happened with WordPress over the year, as well as what the future may look like.
One unique feature about the SOTW this year is that it will also occur on the same day as the release of WordPress 6.9.
The venue for SOTW will open its doors at 11 am PST, with the speech beginning at 12 pm PT and will last for approximately 2 hours. It will also include some Q&A time.
