Dockside Press was started by Kevin Pudlo on November 2, 2025 with the goal of covering WordPress news. While various WordPress news outlets exist, many of them are tied to larger companies and ultimately serve their purpose.

Our goal is to cover WordPress news as it occurs, and to provide an unbiased opinion as much as possible. Topics will include major plugin and theme updates, security vulnerabilities, general WordPress news, company news, and more.

Additionally, we’ll be focused on finding ways to encourage more users into the WordPress, by teaching about WordPress as a program, making surveys to provide feedback to the community, and teaching about the many ways one can contribute, participate, and engage with the WordPress community.
